Popular Roblox RPGs fruits experienced a server hack on Monday, January 9, 2023, causing more than 400,000 players to receive custom pop-ups, startles, text alerts, and more. Although this cheat is no longer present within the experience at the time of this article’s publication, many players continue to express their worries about the security of Blox Fruits and its servers. When the exploits were active, it was claimed multiple times that the former Roblox admin luckmaxer was the culprit behind the hack, although this has yet to be confirmed.

During the hacking event, messages from the administrator appeared on the screen randomly and featured a variety of contexts in several languages, indicating from the beginning that they were not official messages. These messages directly mentioned the developers of Blox Fruits by name and called them out for being problematic, vagueY not who they say they are, stating that “a dark past surrounds each of them”. In a promoted Discord channel during the hack, a breadboard-like image was uploaded that featured a variety of screenshots, apparently attempting to incriminate or “expose” the developers of Blox Fruits.

These messages also made sure to credit Luckymaxer as being responsible for the hack, stating that the reason for the acquisition was related to his expiration as a Roblox admin in 2017. Before Luckymaxer was presumably fired from Roblox, he served as a piece of information. sort of a miner for the company, checking out how Roblox as a front platform could be improved by “hacking” certain parts of the website and trying to change it for the better. However, during the 2017 Egg Hunt event, Lucky took his hacking skills a bit too far for Roblox’s liking and was reportedly removed from his position after moderators learned that he had added the ability to drop exploits. ) within the infamous rabbit ears 2017 avatar accessory.

Although there has been no confirmation from either party since these events took place in 2017, the January 2023 attack has led many players to assume that Lucky believes that the Blox Fruits developers were the ones who tipped off the Egg Hunt moderators. and Roblox about his exploits. He exact quote that mentions this connection is as follows: “WHY DID YOU MAKE THE MISTAKE OF MY BUNNY EARS IN 2017 AND EXPOSE ME ON PURPOSE? NOW I HAD TO TURN TO MY GOOD FRIEND G00BY, THE FAMOUS FE BYPASSER, FOR HELP AS YOU YOU DIDN’T.”

In this quote, Lucky mentions alleged celebrity hacker g00byd0lan (g00by), known for being able to bypass FE (Filtering Enabled) features in Roblox experiences. When an experience has FE enabled, any changes or edits made to the code by hackers will not show up on the server for all players and will instead be filtered and removed. However, FE is not completely foolproof, as hackers like g00by have developed ways to exploit FE blocks and cause the damage that happened to Blox Fruits, regardless of the filter implemented.

Because g00by presents himself online as a light-hearted, unapologetic, and black humor-focused content creator/person, some members of the community, such as popular YouTuber Roblox sharkblox, believes that the trick could be an elaborate “joke” or scheme by g00by, and that Lucky is not involved at all. However, despite all the rumors, no official information has been released by Lucky, g00by, or any of the Blox Fruits developers at the time of publishing this article.
