In Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.3, a new diving and spearfishing location, Upper La Noscea, was added to the game. This was actually an old area from A Realm Reborn, which was revamped in Endwalker to have a single body of water stretching across what were previously two separate, unlinked maps. Here are all the new diving and spearfishing spots.
FFXIV Upper La Noscea diving and swimming
You can now swim and snorkel in Upper La Noscea for the first time. Head into the water and you can start swimming, adding an additional way to traverse Bronze Lake besides the ferry or flight. You can also fly dive into the lake with a mount or pressing Ctrl + spacebar while swimming. Diving will give you access to the new spearfishing spots. You will need to have completed the prerequisites to unlock diving to use the diving action.
