Draconium Ore is a regent for many different crafts from various professions, making it highly valuable to obtain for dozens of reasons. However, he can be hard to get to if he doesn’t know where to look. This is the best way to get draconium ore in World of Warcraft Dragonflight, for all your crafting and money making needs.
Where to farm draconium ore in WoW Dragonflight
As Dragonflight is all about flying around the world on the back of a flying dragon, the most abundant sources of Draconium Ore come from mountain tops, sheer cliffs, and floating islands located around Dragon Isles. All four zones contain nodes for Draconium, it’s just a matter of looking in the right places.
the shore of awakening
For the Shore of Awakening, you’ll want to fly your dragon and stick to the peaks and cliffs of the many wide valleys there. Keep an eye out for small gray obstructions sticking out of illogical places within the Waking Shore. These gray obstructions are usually Draconium ore deposits waiting to be mined.
Thaldraszus
Similar to the Waking Shore, you’ll want to stay high up and search for draconium deposits along the cliffs and mountain tops. Also, look out for the floating islands in this zone as well, as they often have hidden deposits scattered around as well.

the blue stretch
The Draconium deposits in the Azure stretch are scattered randomly, but still, staying in the skies near the cliffs will still be your best bet for finding Draconium. The whole area is full of ore, so it shouldn’t be hard to find it here in abundance.
Ohn’ahran Plains
As the least mountainous area among the Dragon Islands, Draconium ore deposits are often found near the edges of the map, along the cliffs of the other areas that surround it. Still, we recommend flying all over the map, as it’s not uncommon to find deposits at ground level on the plains.
