Easily one of the best ways to enjoy Madden 24 is to rebuild a team that’s doing poorly in the real NFL. For this year, unfortunately there are many teams. Whether they’re plagued by injuries (Jets), only good on one side of the ball (Bears), or simply not playing to their full potential (Giants), many teams are in trouble. In the world of Madden, any problem can be solved.
What are the best teams to rebuild in Madden 24?
chicago bears
Despite a strong performance Thursday night football, the Bears still qualify as a struggling team. The good thing about the Bears is that they have a solid quarterback to build around (Justin Fields) and solid skill players (DJ Moore) who can catch the ball. If players try to rebuild the Bears, they will definitely want to look for solid defensive players as they allow a lot of points per game. They might also want to look for a better running back (although Khalil Herbert could be the future in Chicago).

How does a team replace Christian McCaffery? The answer is: no one can, so don’t even bother. What players can do is surround Bryce Young with enough weapons to help him succeed. Although he may occasionally have a breakout game in real life, players may want to leave Miles Sanders in Running Back for Madden purposes. A standout defensive end can also help that defense.

Atlanta Falcons
Looking at the team’s talent, the Falcons are likely much better than their 2-2 record suggests. After all, they have three solid running backs (Robinson, Patterson and Allgier). The big issue for the team is the quarterback position; Madden players may want to trade Desmond Ridder for someone more mobile, and there are certainly other quarterbacks on the market.
New England Patriots
As a Patriots fan, it’s strange to live in a world where the Pats might not be a lock to make the playoffs. However, there are still plenty of things players can do in Madden to fix equipment. Players don’t necessarily need to get rid of Mac Jones, they just need to surround him with some weapons, particularly a deep threat wide receiver. It would also be nice to make an adjustment on the offensive line to give Rhamondre Stevenson and Ezekiel Elliot some running lanes.
New York Giants
In reality, the Giants are in a similar position to the Patriots. Daniel Jones is probably good enough to win games in Madden, he just needs some weapons around him. A secondary receiver can be good to divert attention from Darius Slayton (some perfect options for this role: Amari Cooper, Adam Thielen, Jordan Addison). Their linebacking core is also pretty banged up, so it might also be good to make some acquisitions or just switch to a 4-3 Defense and rely on the linemen.
