The CES hasn’t even officially begun yet, and Samsung already has a few new features to talk about: these are two curved GPS monitors that carry the same high end speed as the Odyssey G9 and provide a full screen for the exploration of environments. These are the two standard curved devices that go very far in terms of performance, particularly with an OLED and Mini-LED.

At the CES in Las Vegas on December 20, 2018, Samsung unveils its first model of the curved PC monitor, the Odyssey G9. This year, a Korean manufacturer is making a new cover appear by unveiling two new versions of this gamer screen that sees big things.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9: 57 mm and Mini-LED flash.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is simply a monster. The screen diagonal of 57 inches (145cm) and the curvature 1000R make it a wide and enveloping model. This model is well-researched and is very sophisticated. We can add this 240Hz refresh rate to please the player.

With its definition of 7 680 x 2160 pixels give it Quantum Mini-LED with DisplayHDR 1000 specification which equips this monitor just misses the 8K. His ratio 32:9 is the main reason, but that shouldn’t hinder users from taking advantage of this screen because it can replace two or even three standard monitors. This is also the world’s first monitor to support DisplayPort 2.1, which makes the data two times faster than DisplayPort 1.4.

You can legitimately ask whether the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is a bit ahead of its time, because it may finally make the point of exploiting the full potential of this model: at present, almost none graphics cards support DisplayPort 2.1, except for the AMD RX 7900 XTX. Samsung hasn’t revealed yet the price and release date of this monitor. For comparison, the 49-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, released last year, costed 99 euros on the brands website.

For its part, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 has a screen diagonal of 49 inches (125.5 cm), and has a quantum-ton OLED panel (QD OLED). We find that this time, a 32:9 aspect ratio is as follows: the clock curvature of 1800R. The OLED provides an almost infinite contrast ratio. There’s a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 0.1 ms, too.

A good part of this model is that it natively integrates the Samsung Gaming Hub, which means that game streamers have the choice to take advantage of their favorite services even if the monitor doesn’t have an app to play. The Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 also can be connected by Wi-Fi itself. The Google Play Store and Amazon Prime iii, the Yahoo Channel and Netflix applications are also accessible via a smarter-table system that puts the telescoping devices on the screen.

Again, Samsung hasn’t yet explained what a reference is available at that time and how long it will last.
