Best Light Cone for Dan Heng at Honkai Star Rail
The best light cone to use with Dan Heng would be sleep like the dead either Sailing in the Star Sea. We prefer the latter for Dan Heng, as it’s a weapon you can also get and overlay entirely for free. It is purchased from the Herta Shop in the Simulated Universe for eight Herta Bonds, and each item used to overlay the Cone of Light costs two Herta Bonds.
Best Free Light Cone for Dan Heng on Honkai Star Rail
While waiting to gain that Cone of Light, you can use other four-star Cones of Light as only silence remains either Fencing. You’ll likely get a copy of one or the other pretty quickly by pulling any Gacha Banner. If you’re still in a bind, you could use Adversaryone of the best Three Star Cones of Light.

For the best effect, you should try to give Dan Heng the Twilight Line Eagle Set of relics. Increases both wind damage and the advancement of your actions. For planar ornaments, you can use the Celestial Differentiator or Inert Salsotto sets, which increase critical damage and rate, respectively. If you can’t decide which one you need, remember that it’s generally best for characters to have a 1:2 critical to critical damage ratio.
Which of Dan Heng’s stats should you boost?
Dan Heng is a character that deals damage first and foremost, so you need to focus on that. Here are the main stats we recommend focusing on for Heirloom parts that can vary:
- Feet: Speed either Stroke%
- Body: Critical damage either critical rate
- Sphere: wind damage
- Rope: Stroke%
Way and element of Dan Heng on Honkai Star Rail
The path that Dan Heng follows in The Hunt, so he specializes in single target damage. He is a Wind element character, of which there are currently only three, so he may be your only Wind element character for a while if you miss Bronya or Sampo.
Who pairs well with Dan Heng in Combat?
Those other two characters of the Wind element, Bronya and Sampo, they definitely work well with Dan Heng when fighting enemies weak to Wind Release. Dan Heng’s damage is also increased when enemies are affected by Slow, so if you have Bump on his roster, he can help reliably boost Dan Heng’s damage. Don’t forget to bring defensive characters on any team you build, such as 7 of March either Natasha.
