The Forest was a game that designed to bury a peninsula with a simple idea that it was hard to survive from the hordes of colonibals and mutants. Since the concept had nothing breakthrough, it became popular because of its impressive game design and story that quickly sparked the tiff. The sequel named Sons of the Forest includes intelligent AI and companions, including a three-armed mutant named Virginia at least according to recent previews.
The sons of the Forest’s start with a similar concept to the original, where the two children were replaced by the billionaires. Don’t worry! The enemy continues to lose land in a remote area with cannibals. In the preview, IGN, you can follow a quest line that involves finding the billionaire or you can just ignore it and survive in an advanced session.
No matter whether you are with a friend, you still have access to AI companions, which differ depending on the way you treat them. Kelvin is the first man to know this will be an unaided soldier with an unfortunate brain injury, who will obey written commands. Later you can recruit a three-armed mutant named Virginia. Everybody will change their habits according to your treatment and, if you don’t want them around anymore, you may take them back to the old yeller treatment.

The preview also shows off some impressive AI from the enemy, because they’re making a different choice depending on the world surrounding them. Some enemies are willing to watch you and your friends from a distance, while others will not hesitate to defend themselves in and attack. The other enemies, known as the leaders of the other world, can influence the way others react to your presence. There’s no doubt that the game could be even scarier than Dead Space.
Finally, the preview showed some impressive new building features you’ll have access to when the game gets ready. While the original game is inspired by original plans to place logs and building your home away from home, Sons of the Forest allows an easy approach, meaning you can cut logs in different locations and place them wherever you want. There are loads of new games being added so we can’t wait until it’s released later this year.
