Season 3 Reloaded has just hit the live servers and with it comes a ton of content for Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, including new schemes, a new story mission, and most important of all: a new Warlord to defeat. We’re here to show you how to find and defeat Warlord Rainmaker.
Where to find and how to beat Warlord Rainmaker in MW3 Zombies (Location)
Warlord Rainmaker is not a difficult man to find and that is because he does not hide. You will find his base of operations southeast of Urzikstan and southeast of Shahin Manor. There are several zip lines leading to the island, or if you feel like swimming you can snorkel and zoom in through the water.
How to enter Warlord Rainmaker’s fortress in MW3 Zombies
to enter Rainmaker Warlord’s Fortress There are some obstacles to overcome. First you will need a Mercenary Fortress Access Cardsome extra firepower, and finally the Rainmaker Fortress Access Card. All of these can be obtained in a fairly quick manner.
How to Get the Mercenary Stronghold Keycard (Map)
You will have two options to obtain the Mercenary Fortress Access Card. First, you’ll want to open your Tac-Map and find a Mercenary camp. Avoid camps in the level 2 or 3 exclusion zone as it adds extra difficulty for you and your squad. Once you have found the camp, head there and eliminate the mercenaries in the area. Inside the camp there will be a chest to loot, which grants a Mercenary Fortress Access Card.
The second option is to go to any Buy Station and buy a Mercenary Fortress Access Card for 2000 credits. This option may be viable for those with more cash or who want to complete a quick contract instead of searching the map for a mercenary camp.
How to Get the Rainmaker Fortress Access Card (Map)
After recovering the Mercenary Access Card either from the Mercenary camp or a Buy Stationgo to a mercenary fortress. Inside you will find a small army ready to attack you with riot shields and throw grenades at you. Make sure you have your best equipment for this objective. As you progress through the Fortress, you will find a safe (usually located on the second floor).
Break the safe and lock down the area while a couple of waves of mercenaries will try to stop you from stealing their loot. Once the safe is opened, take the Rainmaker Fortress Access Card and head straight for the man himself.
How to beat Warlord Rainmaker in MW3 Zombies
As you approach the island, you’ll notice the annoyingly precise charges falling on your head; Rainmaker employs mortar teams to constantly rain explosives on his enemies. Your best option here is to storm the island with speed and take the ziplines across the water while dropping enemy combatants as you go. Be warned: Rainmaker has more than mortars up his sleeve; You will find C4 tripwires and Claymores scattered throughout the island.
As you make your way through the complex clearing booby traps, you’ll discover that you have two options. You can enter the building immediately and take on the boss or expertly dispatch all enemies surrounding the area before taking on the Warlord.
I was lucky enough to find a Juggernaut pack that allowed me to take on and outduel Rainmaker. If you’re struggling and not so lucky, you can spend a few minutes collecting some credits to pack up your weapon and give it some extra flair.
A quick tip: Sometimes you can be lucky enough to have a Buy Station appear on Rainmaker Island. If that’s the case, you can quickly stock up on armor plates when you’re low.
What does Warlord Rainmaker drop? (All rewards)
After killing the beast, you will be rewarded with the DG-56 Clean House blueprint and two more random items. Surprisingly, the DG-56 blueprint doesn’t unlock the weapon outside of MW3 Zombies, so completionists looking for cool cosmetics won’t find one here. Of the remaining two loot drops, you can expect to find a Legendary Tier Wonder Weapon and a completely random Epic Grade Loot. All that’s left to do is extract without accidentally tripping over some Claymores on the way out.
