Diablo 4 Season 2 introduced vampire powers to the game, and these allow you to have even more control over your builds. With over 20 to choose from, it can be overwhelming knowing what’s good and what’s not. Blizzard will likely make changes to them throughout the season, but in Season 2, this is where the vampire powers stand out from the rest.

The best vampire powers in Diablo 4 Season 2

Keep in mind that many of the decisions you make in Diablo 4 are up to you, but if you want to be more optimal, there are some decisions you can make. Vampire powers depend on the build you choose, but there are a couple of them that seem to be much stronger at the beginning of the season.

Before any buffs or nerfs come, here’s what we think is the strongest vampire power. This will almost certainly change in the coming weeks and months, so don’t think it’s set in stone.

    • Metamorphosis
    • Moonrise
    • Voracious
    • Anticipation
    • Take advantage of the weak
    • Boil the blood
    • flowing veins
    • Eternal

Note that many of the powers will be solid if you adapt the build to them, but vampire powers like Prey on the Weak will fit almost any build. It’s really hard to overcome the extra damage to vulnerable enemies. Metamorphosis makes you unstoppable for four seconds after evading, so that’s another power that will fit into any build. Those are probably the two best powers, but they don’t have to be the only ones you focus on.

How to get vampire powers in Diablo 4 Season 2

Before you can put these powers into your builds, you’ll first need to locate them. There are currently three ways to get them in Season 2. The easiest is to use Potent Blood, and this will unlock them at random. Another method is to obtain them from Quest rewards. The last way is Hunters Acclaim reputation rewards as part of Blood Harvest events.

Potent Blood is obtained by killing vampires, and you will then use this currency to unlock and upgrade powers. Don’t worry too much about this, as you’ll be able to collect everything naturally as you play through the season.
