After choosing a good starting class, you’ll want to make sure you also use the best weapons you can early in the game to progress. In my own experience, I think it’s often worth keeping your class weapon until you reach a later point in the game, as these weapons are aimed at your specific class, but occasionally there are a few weapons you may come across. that are too good. let pass. Here is a list of some of the best weapons that I found useful to start the game.

The best starting weapons in Lords of the Fallen

During my time playing, I found that the type of weapon is almost as important as the specific weapon itself. Each of them can have different ranges, speeds and damage. There are certainly a lot of factors that go into deciding what type of weapon to use, such as whether you’re playing solo or co-op, what your class is, and what loadout you have. As a new player, I found it much easier to use weapons that have longer range and/or make faster attacks. I would recommend the following types of weapons:

    • spears
    • One-handed swords and shieldsyes
    • long swords
    • bows and crossbows
    • Canes

With those weapon types in mind, here are some of the best weapons I found early in the game:

    sacred praise

Hallowed Praise is a great option to start with, as it not only deals decent base damage, but also some Holy and Bleed stacking. You can also choose to pair it with a shield to compensate for its lack of block protection. Although it doesn’t have as much range as a short sword, it is definitely a faster weapon option. You can find it at the loot points near the entrance to Pilgrim’s Perch, where you fought Scourge Sister Delyth.

    Crimson Guiding Sword

Although longswords are not the fastest weapons, they make up for it in range. These long swords, usually two-handed, deal a ton of damage, especially when used by more heavy weapons-oriented classes. You can find this sword at loot points throughout the area after fighting Pieta.

    Bell staff

Staffs may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I found that if you put your points into Radiance or Inferno, they can be a pretty powerful option, especially if the staff has ranged attacks. The Bell Staff has full physical and attack power and also a fairly high Holy stat. If you’re playing the Priest class, this is definitely a great starting point, but it can also be useful for other classes if they have the right stats.

    Partisan Crossbow

One of the main reasons I chose the Partisan class is because of their crossbows. Although the Partisan Crossbow can usually only be obtained by being of the Partisan class, it is still a great example of what kind of stats you can expect from most other bows and crossbows you find in the world. Not only do they provide cover from afar, but they can also function to knock down or stagger opponents.

    Old Mournstead Spear

The Old Mournstead Spear is by far one of the best starting weapons I have found so far. It is a well-balanced weapon that provides decent damage and long range. You can perform a full-speed jump attack on enemies and even hit multiple enemies at once if you are lined up correctly.

These are just a few of the weapons I found most useful early in the game, but it all comes down to what feels most comfortable for your class and weight capacity. You might come across an even better random item in a loot spot or chest, so keep an eye out.
