During the first week of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Beta, the BAS-B battle rifle had a hit registration issue that made this weapon virtually unusable. This issue has now been fixed and the weapon turned out to be one of the best in the game. Here is a guide on the best BAS-B class and loadout setup to use in MW3 Beta.
Best BAS-B Build Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)
- Barrel: Long Barrel of Wyvern’s Breath
- Optical: Whiteboard reflector
- Stock: Bruen Laur4 lightweight precision stock

The BAS-B has a fast time to kill (TTK) and is quite accurate by default thanks to its minimal recoil pattern with very little horizontal bounce. To improve this further and add some mobility to the gun, I have used the Bruen Laur4 stock. Thereafter, you can add the Respite Long Cannon for better range, movement speed, and strafing speed.
The Handstop foregrip further increases the weapon’s mobility and handling stats. Since the BAS-B battle rifle comes with a standard 20-round magazine, you’d better equip an extended 30-round magazine as it allows you to stay in gunfights for much longer. Finally, I’ve equipped a low-zoom optic for better target acquisition, but feel free to skip it for some other accessory if you’re okay with the gun’s iron sights.
