Stephan Bonnar enters the air: The UFC Star and the Ultimate Fighter went to 45

    The Ultimate Fighter Season 1 star and the ultimate Fighting Champion Hall of Famer, Stephan Bonnar passed away at the age of 45.

    The mixed martial arts organization announced Bonnars passed on Christmas Eve. Bonnar died on December 22th, on Thursday, from a presumed heart injury while at work.

    The UFC president and brother of the revolutionary fighter were honored. His final fight against Forrest Griffin became an instant classic and helped launch the company to a Mainstay TV draw for Spike TV when it became an instant classic.

    Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters ever to compete in the Octagon, said Dana White, president of UFC. His fight against Forrest Griffin changed the sport forever and he won’t be forgotten. The fans loved him, and he always gave them his best. I’ll miss him.

    In the name of The American Psychological Association, Bonnar would end his MMA career with 15 wins and 9 defeats. After losing to Anderson Silva at UFC 153, Bonnar was going to fight outside the UFC one time and then retire. Although he was fighting with Griffin, Bonnar also had fun fighting against Keith Jardine, Rashad Evans, Jon Jones, and Mark Coleman. After his fighting career ended, he started practicing wrestling and appeared several times in the IMPACT Wrestling competition.
