The PlayX4 conference in South Korea gave us the opportunity to discover a wide variety of overseas-only games. One of them is alive! Zombie! From 92 labs, and it’s like survivors with teeth.
Long live the hopes of 92 Labs! Zombie! Their expansion into the global market will seal the deal, and their big bet is that the game, where you control zombies instead of humans, is going to have mass appeal.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world you play as a lone zombie who builds his kingdom in an ‘alternate world’. But you won’t be alone and will have to constantly upgrade your zombies to fight off attacks from other zombies, humans and worse.
From the title and gameplay alone it should be pretty clear that Survive! Zombie! Taking a lot of cues from the fast-expanding Survivor-like genre. You control a horde of zombies while gradually upgrading them with new abilities and weapons as they move through an open field encountering enemies, bosses, structures and more.

While 92 Labs boasts a lot about their Blockchain and Web3 (whatever that means to you) experience it seems that Live! Zombie! A brief look at the summary will not contain these elements. Studio Is However aiming for a global launch soon.
It also seems like the PlayX4 conference has been a great source of some great hidden gems like the one we’re covering today. So you can expect us to keep a close eye on them in the future. Of course, it’s not surprising given how mobile is a hotspot for South Korea.
