By its first review, HBO has produced an exceptional show, but also to please the original story in the video game using the correct adaptation.
Critics praise the extended plot of this series and its phenomenal acting of the actors. The reviews show that the adaptation of Last of Us sets a realistic standard for a proper adaptation that is useful for the logical expansion of the original source.
The plot is almost the same as the videogame intro with a few extras. The show expanded upon the origins of a virus, with science even speaking of a possible viral pandemic in the early 1960s.
