The Season 3 update for MW3 has brought a ton of new content to Zombies mode, including a new story mission. You can get a giraffe toy in the mission, which is really useful! In this guide, we will explain how to get it in the game.
How to find the giraffe toy in MW3 Zombies
You can get the relic tuned to the giraffe toy at defeating Taoxia, the boss of the Union story mission in Dark Aether. Defeating this boss isn’t that difficult as long as you have at least one Pack-A-Punch on your weapon at level 2. But this boss also spawns other zombies, which can be irritating. After defeating Taoxia, a reward glitch will appear and you will get the Giraffe Toy as a guaranteed reward.
To keep the Giraffe Toy, you must successfully extract it from the Dark Aether and it will appear in the Acquisitions section of your inventory. Extracting from the Dark Aether is also the completion of Union’s story mission.
If you die during another deployment while the giraffe toy is in your hideout, it will be lost and you will have to repeat the mission again. However, if you have the Tombstone buff, you can get it back on your next deployment.
What to do with the Giraffe toy in MW3 Zombies
The giraffe toy is used as one of the keys to open the third dark aether rift in the game. After opening Dark Aether Rift, you will be able to enter Dark Aether whenever you want. The third Dark Aether Rift is located at coordinates E4 on the map, right near the Dark Aether exfiltration location.
