This has been exciting news for 2022, but Skunkape announced they will release the sequel to the sequel of the sequel Sam & Max, in 2023. If you don’t know it, it was originally released in 2010 by Telltale Games as one of their first major titles. The company became known for its episodic content when it released five episodes over five months, so players could dive into the fullest chapter of the game at once. In addition to this, they were able to tell a wacky, concise tale, without taking a chance. Obviously, what Telltale was no longer around, but many of the developers who previously worked on the game are now working for Skunkape, which makes it the perfect home for a remaster.

The trailer has a slew of thirty seconds and does not really show up the game’s content beyond setting that you would not know if it looked a little more glossy than they were once. But you get the perfect idea of what the team was planning for this game. We’re guessing they won’t follow the same monthly release as they once did, but that’s fine, as it will be interesting to check out all five chapters while working together rather than waiting. Enjoy the trailer below. There are more than 10 different versions of it to come.

“The best and most extraordinary is the power of supernatural powers in the movie saga over five episodes. In intergalactic warlords and eldritch gods, under-dwellers and scholars of the arcane. The biggest gaming giant sleuths Sam & Max seek the power’s ancient secrets, as manic Max gets shape to shift, teleportation, mind reading, and future vision skills for battling these foes. The plot and saga are a whitch of symphony of mayhem. There is a symphony that gets deep and more deeply twisted with each episode.
