Housemark, the developer of titles like Returnal and Resogun, has teased some sort of announcement for tomorrow.
In a post on X, the developer simply posted a graphic of what appears to be a broken reflection of a woman’s eyes with the word “Tomorrow”.
Less than two hours later, Housemark shared a short video clip of the same photo but in animated form.
Although the knee-jerk reaction is to assume that this announcement is related to The Returnal, whether it’s a sequel or something else, that doesn’t seem likely. In 2022, Housemark said it was developing a new IP for its next title. However, that doesn’t necessarily rule out the possibility of more return DLC, if nothing else. A lot has changed for the house brand since the return launch in April 2021, such as being acquired by Sony just a few months later. Returnal launched on PC in February 2023 and has been updated with additional content and features such as co-op.
