OctaneBench is not a gaming benchmark at all. It’s just a graphics rendering engine that supports computational algorithms like NVIDIA CUDA or Metal for AMD chips.

The result from the test’s acceleration that supports the RTX acceleration is entirely led by NVIDIA RTX, including the enthusiast models 4090 and 4080 and recently a result from the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is a high-end graphics accelerator that will be working on the AD104 core, with 7680 CUDA cores and 12GB of RAM.

Based on the results of the OctaneBench 2020.1 software test, the graphics card has achieved 725 points, 5% more than the RTX 3090 Ti, the most scalable software. A score of 100 is 100% better than the GTX 980 graphics card, while the RTX 4070 Ti is also 7x faster than this old Maxwell GM204 based system in this test.

It is not clear whether the card worked with non-standard configuration when overclocked.

The press is testing the RTX 4070 Ti graphics cards, and that results may be because of a leak. Reviews will be published on January 4, and the date of the official start of sales is scheduled for January 5.
