    • Want to upgrade to Monster Hunter now? Then try out the game’s new drift-melting mechanic.
    • Use driftstones to randomly upgrade your armor and walk to complete the process.
    • You’ll need these upgrades, new, even scarier monsters will be added to MH Now soon.

Monster Hunter Now is giving you a brand new way to upgrade your gear with the new Driftsmelting Mechanic, added in its most recent update.

How it works? Well, basically, by using a resource called Driftstone, you can start melting a piece of equipment of your choice. Naturally, you will need equipment that has been upgraded to support drift melting, which can vary depending on the type of equipment.

After that, you just need to start walking. Yes, Monster Hunter Now is still trying to walk you into reality! But that’s okay because it’s all part of the process, and if you really need it, you can use the InstaSmelt solution to speed it all up, but it will cost you.

You can see all details about drift melting in detail. Official updateand troubleshoot any potential problems using Niantic’s help page.

    A bit random

All of these upgrades are going to be necessary, because over the summer, Monster Hunter Now teased a whole new wave of monsters – the massive Elder Dragon, for example. These beasts are so old that they defy even the fantasy environment of the Monster Hunter franchise, and they’ll have a big new enemy to contend with.

And with the nights winding down and the weather warming up, there’s no doubt that plenty of Monster Hunter Now fans will be heading out to take on the game’s deadliest beasts.
