Mob Vote is easily one of the best and my favorite part of Minecraft Live. Not only does it show which new Mobs can join Minecraft, but it also allows fans and the community to come together and determine a small part of Minecraft’s future. The Minecraft Live 2023 mob vote is shaping up nicely and is approaching quickly, starting with the reveal of the first Mob, which is the Crab.
Minecraft Crab revealed for Minecraft 2023 Mob Vote
The first Mob for Minecraft Live 2023 Mob Vote was revealed to be the Crab in the Minecraft YouTube channel, which says: “The crab makes its home in the mangrove and has a huge claw! Not only does it use it to greet players (hello!), this giant claw is actually very special.” If the Crab wins the mob vote, you will be able to place this cute creature in the Mangrove Swamp biomes.

Crab Claw’s special feature allows players to place blocks further away, extending their reach when building. Players will have to get this claw, which hopefully doesn’t involve taking it from the Crabs by killing them, but we’ll have to wait and see how the Crab Claw can be obtained.
The Crab is only one of three Mobs participating in the Mob Vote, and the other two have not yet been revealed. Minecraft Live launches on October 15, 2023 at 5 pm UTC and will be active for 48 hours, but closes 15 minutes before the show. You’ll need to cast your vote from October 13, 2023 until now if you want to give your favorite Mob a chance to win!
