Kinky Kitsune and the Tantalizing Tanuki

If the game launches with a blue screen error message (possibly with lots of ???s), please try the following two possible fixes.

Tips for Troubleshooting

Method 1

1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
2. Select an area.
3. Select the Administrative tab in Region Settings.
4. Click Change System Locale.
5. If enabled, uncheck “Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support”.
6. If that doesn’t work, try changing your current system locale to Japanese.

Method 2

1. Make sure your antivirus software is not preventing the game from running if you use an antivirus.
2. Also open the install folder of The Kinky Kitsune and The Tantalizing Tanuki.
3. Right-click on kittan.exe and select Run as administrator.
