King’s Squire is a four-star bow from Genshin Impact, part of Sumeru’s series of craftable weapons. He’s one of the least desirable of the bunch due to his weird kit, which has offensive primary and secondary stats and a support-focused passive. Regardless, King’s Squire can still be useful to you depending on your characters and specific team rotations.
How to get King’s Squire in Genshin Impact
King’s Squire is a craftable weapon, so it cannot be obtained by pulling any banner. Instead, you have to play through Sumeru’s Aranyaka quest chain to get quest items called Stories of You and the Aranara. Then talk to Aravinay in the Vanarana dream to exchange them for Forging Blueprints, including the tale of the king’s squirewhich is used to make King’s Squire.
Learn the Blueprint by using it from your Inventory, then head to any blacksmith to forge it with the following materials:
- x1 Midlander bow billet
- Crystal Shard x50
- x50 White Iron Cunk
- x500 Blackberry
It only takes 10 seconds to get this bow and you can craft as many as you want for Refinements.
Genshin Impact King’s Squire Stats
- base attack: 41 to 454
- substate: Attack (12 to 55.1 percent)

Who can use King’s Squire in Genshin Impact
King’s Squire is a generally odd choice due to the fact that there are significantly better arc options out there for most characters. It also requires careful rotation to get the most out of its passive, which is an odd combination of support and DPS. Some characters can still use King’s Squire, but it’s not the best option for anyone.
