Albina Virgila will be added to your team during the second story mission in King Arthur: Legion IX, when leader Gaius Julius Mento recruits her to your team. She is a support character and ranged DPS with three Traits. The bad thing is that it is fragile, which means that it receives -25 percent vitalitywhich is offset somewhat by Lost (immune to poison and bleeding DOT). She is also favored by Vesta, giving her +1 loyalty when you make a human morality decision.

In addition to always having low vitality, Albina also has to use light armor, turning it into a kind of glass cannon. However, don’t underestimate her melee skills. While you don’t want her to face a powerful opponent, she is more than capable of taking on some enemies. strong melee damage if your other abilities are recovering.

You can first reset Albina’s skills before the third story mission, when she will be at level 7. Resetting afterwards will give you 8 skill points to spend and you will receive two additional skill points with each additional level. (Can reset any character’s ability at any time between missions with without cost or penalty.)

After a reset, you will have two mandatory skills: the basic melee attack (Strike3AP) and Switched on (all damaging abilities cause burns for 2 turns). In level 10 you will unlock his ultimate ability, Mass withdrawalwhich draws all friendly units to adjacent spaces next to Albina.

Level taken Skill Point Cost skill name Description
7 2 fire birds Since you’re constantly outnumbered in battles, having three untargetable two-turn Burning DOT machines is a big help.
7 2 fire attacks Target 3 enemies and deal 50 percent damage each. This may sound a little weak, but since Albina automatically inflicts Burn, this also affects each target.
7 2 cauterize You gain 1 Vitality each time a unit takes burn damage. Since this should happen every round, Caauterise is essentially an always-on DOT heal for Albina.
7 2 Pyromania Since both of your main skills deal burn damage, acquiring a skill that adds +50 percent to burn damage is simply amazing.
8 2 Balance At first glance, the ability to balance the remaining health percentage of all your units seems boring. However, it is a great way to make the most of rest points and keep the entire team alive. Rest points give 75 percent vitality to all units, so balancing beforehand near the end of a battle allows you to get the maximum benefit. Or, if a unit has been relentlessly attacked, it’s a great way to heal them without using a potion.
9 1 Long-lasting ashes (Firebirds Update) This fixes Fire Birds’ biggest weakness, increasing its duration from 2 to 3 turns.
9 1 magma core (Fire Attack Update) This gives your Fire Strikes armor piercing, which is great for softening up heavily armored units and making them more vulnerable to Plutonius’ Grave Conduit attack.
10 2 Spell Resistance The threat of AOE ranged attacks is not a big factor before you reach level 9. Once it is, you need to protect your glass cannon. Spell resistance reduced incoming spell damage by 25 percent.
eleven 2 Purge As incoming effects continue to become a factor, Albina’s ability to remove all negative effects from a hero becomes very useful. She can also be used to remove all buffs from an enemy.
12 1 fervent goal (Fire Attacks Update) This adds an extra target to fire attacks. It’s not always useful, but it will be greatly appreciated in most battles.
12 1 Old neighborhood (Spell Resistance Enhancement) At 12th level, this is likely to be useful in all difficult battles, as it means you will ignore the effects of the first incoming spell in any encounter.

While you can’t guarantee what items you’ll pick up on your way through King Arthur: Legion IX, here are some of the key abilities to look out for and some items I’ve found them in.

    • Phoenix Rune: Adds 1 extra bird when casting Fire Birds
    • Robust loyalty seal: Adds +1 turn duration to burning effects.

Beyond these or similar effects that improve your basic abilities, look for any item that increases Mental Damage Resistance (to weaken incoming spell attacks) or that stop incoming ranged damage.

I like to put Albina in the training ground, as this gives her +1 damage every 5 levels and she hits the most targets, so it will benefit her the most. I also lean towards Humanity’s side of morality, which makes it easier to increase her damage through the Loyalty meter (thanks to Vesta’s Favor, described above).

How to play Albina in King Arthur Legion IX

Without going into details, Albina is a glass cannon that should be kept out of duels when it is possible. Can use fire attacks every second turn, so an ideal battle start will be Fire Strikes, Fire Birds, and then Fire Strikes again. He tries to keep her close to the action, since she melee attack It deals solid damage and is great for taking out damaged enemies on turns where you expect cooldowns to occur.
