A trailer featuring a mythical Pokemon character known to the Legend of Fortnite went viral on social media.
Fortnite has become known for bringing the game to a rich range of characters.
Marvel, Star Wars, and multiple Anime shows have already joined the Fortnite universe, and now rumors have circulated over the internet.
But are there collaborations between Epic Games and Nintendo to bring these two worlds together?
Is Fortnite Getting a Pokemon Collab?
For unfortunately, Fortnite and Pokemon don’t have any plans to run out. The viral video circulated on social media is an artistic copy of the animator, Feraalsy.
This cinematic trailer came out on Twitter and TikTok with akayamano and akayamawai.
Charizard is the main character in the video as Ash releases him from a Poke Ball, but while a very impressive animation is a real part of what I think is a concept.
Can Fortnite Collab with Pokemon for the Future?
Currently, it looks like Fortnite and Pokemon will not cross paths any sooner or later.
Epic Games and Nintendo haven’t even yet had any crossovers. Although in 2021, leaks suggested that Nintendo denied the right to an oversized id.
Nintendo is the creator of Metroid, which ran until now since 1986.
If that weren’t enough, Nintendo had the right to restrict their franchises to the exclusive use of their consoles. However, Fortnite would not be able to get through all the competition.
Sources tell me that a Metroid (Samus Aran) collaboration willn’t happen next season. It seems that Epic didn’t have the right to make her go to the game.
