How to Unlock Frame Rate in Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves’ smooth ARPG combat, incredible views, and enticing gacha mechanics are just a few of the reasons to take on the role of a Rover. However, our priority today is something more valuable than great combat and beautiful visuals: frame rate. I’m here to help you maximize your FPS with the least effort.

How to set your frame rate to 120 FPS

To change your FPS all you have to do is navigate to the settings menu, which you will find at the bottom right of the game menu. After that, jump to the Graphics Settings tab and you will see the Frame Rate settings where you can modify your FPS as per your needs. Unfortunately, Wuthering Waves is capped at 60 FPS due to a reported glitch with PCs when using 120 FPS. Developers Kuro Games promised to bring back the option once the issues have been resolved.

One user quoted Kuro Games and said: “Currently, the game is known to occasionally crash in 120fps mode on PC. While the development team resolves the issue, this feature will not be available during the period. We will inform you when This feature is available in future updates. Thank you for your patience and support.”

Until we hear more, the highest FPS you can achieve is 60 regardless of what other graphical changes you make. While it’s not good for high-end platforms, especially since the combat is so slick, all we can do is wait for the solution to be found. Once the option is returned, you can follow the instructions above and change the frame rate limit from 60 to 120 and you’ll be good to go.
