Boon Marrabbio is one of three unlockable secret characters in Vampire Survivors, introduced in 0.6.1. patch. Players must first solve the puzzle to unlock it. Once you figure out the puzzle, it’s pretty easy to unlock it, and in this guide we’ll show you how to do it.

Solving the Follow the Trail puzzle after looting Pummarola and Skull O’Maniac from the Mad Forest is easy, just follow the steps below:

- First you need to collect the yellow sign.
- Collect 100 Floor Chickens. The game will count all the chickens you collected before that point. You don’t really need to do it in one run.
- Wear Skull O’Maniac Y pummarola in the Mad Forest. You can also choose them when you level up. Pummarola is a passive item marked with the red heart icon. Increases cooldown by 0.2 per level. Both Skull O’Maniac and Pummarola need to be at least level 1 for this quest.
- follow the trail of empanadas they begin to spawn. They will take you to the boss. He will start moving towards you immediately, but he moves very slowly. If you stray off the path, you could start to drift away from it, so make sure you stay on the path. The cakes will sometimes not be easy to spot due to all the chaos and will spawn less frequently the closer you are to the boss location, so keep your eyes peeled.
Defeat Boon Marrabbio
Defeating Boon Marrabbio is best done in an Attrition battle due to his large health pool. He has no ranged ability besides a small fireball that you can easily avoid. It moves very slowly, so you will be able to outrun it and dodge it. He has an incredibly high amount of HP, so it will take you quite a while to kill him. Let your abilities clear the way in front of you while he chases after you and keep dealing damage to him.
