How to take photos in Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves is home to incredibly picturesque views, from misty mountain tops to Huanglong architecture, cute cats, and your favorite waifu from a low angle. To immortalize these important moments of your trip, use WuWa’s in-game camera tool to take high-quality photos.

To access the WuWa in-game camera, head to the Terminal and click on the camera icon at the bottom of the screen. Doing so will activate manual photography mode.

You can manually adjust the camera angle clicking and dragging the screen. In the meantime, you can use the mouse wheel or slider to the right to manually adjust the zoom distance. It is important to know that WuWa’s camera does not have the best 360-degree angle functionality. If your character is sitting or standing at an awkward angle, the camera angle also becomes limited. I suggest playing with different locations and poses to take the best photos.

If you want more customization, you can access more photography features by clicking the three lines at the top left of the screen, which allows you to pose the model or get rid of it completely. The depth of field toggle lets you adjust blur effects similar to the iPhone’s portrait mode. The focal length blurs certain parts of the image, while the blue depth radius gives you more control to focus on the subject and blur the background.

When you’re ready to take a photo, click the F (PC) button or the camera icon at the bottom right of the screen. Once done, click the save button to make sure your photo is saved on your device. If you forget to click the Save button, there will be no way to recover your lost photo.

Is there a photography shortcut in Wuthering Waves?

Starting with version 1.0, there are no known photography shortcut in Wuthering Waves, which means you can’t take exciting action shots. However, completing the side quest called Jinzhou Photos will reward you with a device called zoom camera. It can only be used in missions, but there is a possibility that it can be used in the overworld in the future. You can encourage developers to implement the feature by sending comments.
