As you progress through the turn-based tactical RPG King Arthur: Legion IX, you’ll encounter a series of puzzles, some intertwined with battles. If you made it to the Crypt of the Three Sisters quest in The Tombs, read on to find out how to kill the banshees.
King Arthur Legion IX – How to Solve the Banshees Puzzle in The Tombs Mission
He Crypt of the Three Sisters It is the last mandatory battle in The Tombs mission. The battle takes place in the southwest corner of the area (see map above marking the three banshees) and begins with a cutscene.
During this three banshees will appear and say the following, which turns out to be a riddle of type:
- The order It has been ordained and cannot be broken! (Lady Vespera, in the middle)
- Dawn must follow night! (Lady Nox, right)
- The night follows the twilight! (Lady Auroa, left)
- Help us children of the night! (Lady Vespera)
At this point, 17 additional enemies will appear in the room and the battle will begin. He three sisters will be left behind from the room and cast long-range spells against a single target until you are defeated. The other mobs are weak melee units, so they shouldn’t give you much trouble. However, the three Banshees are a different matter.
Solution to the Crypt of the Three Sisters puzzle
You must defeat all units to complete the battle. However, the twist is that the three sisters must be killed in the correct order. If you reduce a sister’s health to 0 and she doesn’t have to be defeated, she will simply return to full health. To solve this, consider that:
- Wait is the evening star
- nox She is the Roman goddess of the night
- dawn means dawn in Latin
This creates the order you need to defeat them. Waitso noxand finally dawn. Approach them and defeat them in the correct order. You’ll find it easy to defeat them as they have no armor and don’t regenerate outside of the command mechanism.
Once completed, you can exit the room to the north and west to Complete the Tombs quest. or head east to tackle the Cursed Chest in the final crypt. Don’t forget to open the chest You’ll find behind the tombs of the three sisters (which you can see in the image at the top of this article) some random equipment items and gold.
