Getting the Second race in the Mugetsu Project should be your top priority, as you have access to legendary units like Los Lobos and Murcielago. However, many players have difficulty unlocking Second due to the complicated process, which is why I have put together this Project Mugetsu guide to help you obtain it.
How to unlock Second in Roblox Project Mugetsu
The only way to get to Second is the Mugetsu Project is through obtaining the Hogyoku fragment. This is also known as the Hogyoku Notifier item in the game. Once you have this fragment, you can consume it if you are at least level 250 in the game, achieving the Second race.
Fortunately, I have discovered two different ways to acquire this fragment, but they are not easy at all.
How to get the Hogyoku fragment in the Mugetsu Project
The first method is to polish Project Mugetsu’s Ranked mode. This particular mode rewards you with rare items when you win games and raise your rank. However, the Hogyoku Shard reward is not guaranteed, meaning you will receive this item randomly when you level up in Ranked mode.
Sometimes the Hogyoku fragment appears randomly on the island, and you can grab it if you catch it at the right time. But this is not a guaranteed way to achieve it. Fortunately, you can purchase the Hogyoku Notifier item from the Mugetsu Project, which will inform you when Hogyoku becomes available.
However, the only caveat is that this is a paid item, which usually costs 3,750 Robux. Luckily, the Hogyoku Notifier item is currently available for 50% off, meaning you can get it for 1,875 Robux before the offer ends.

All Second units and abilities in the Mugetsu Project
The Segunda race features two legendary units in the Mugetsu Project:
The Wolves
To activate this unit, type “The Wolves” and you will gain access to the following resurrection moves that you can activate with certain Project Mugetsu (PM) controls:
- Passive – M1 special
- Your character will fire powerful zero blasts instead of hitting like otherarrars.
- Fangs [Z]
- Your character takes a quick step, summons a pair of spiritual energy swords, and performs a spinning slash. This move can be used as a combo or starter extender and has a 15 second cooldown.
- zero gun [X]
- Your Zanpakuto evolution level must be at least 10 to unlock this move.
- Your character fires a strong zero with the right weapon, which knocks the opponent back. However, he also has a 10 second cooldown.
- Comrade Package [C]
- Your Zanpakuto evolution level must be at least 20 to unlock this move and have a 35 second cooldown.
- The unit summons several wolves with Comrade, who pounce on the opponent and bite them before exploding.
- Zero Machine Gun [V]
- Requires Zanpakuto Evolution Level 35 and has a 60 second cooldown.
- Upon activating this ability, the character draws both weapons from his pocket, takes aim, and fires a burst of Ceros from them. All explosions fall on the opponent at once, causing a giant explosion upon impact.
Bat
To activate this unit, type “Murcielago” and you will gain access to the following resurrection moves:
- Lightning Spear [Z]
- Your Zanpakuto evolution level must be at least 40 to unlock this move.
- The user creates a Spear and then throws it into the air. It lands where the mouse/cursor is, creating a giant nuclear bomb where it lands.
- blood fever [X]
- Your Zanpakuto evolution level must be at least 45 to unlock this move.
- The player flies forward, spins, and hits anyone in their path (heals for 25% damage).
- Zero Dark [C]
- Your Zanpakuto evolution level must be at least 50 to unlock this move.
- The character flies through the air and unleashes a zero that follows his mouse, causing a large explosion.
- Bat Storm [V]
- Requires level 60 Zanpakuto evolution
- As with other abilities, the character flies through the air and releases his wings, creating energy beams around him before creating a giant black reiatsu tornado around him.
