Disney Dreamlight Valley has a wide variety of crops, herbs, and fruits for you to find and use to make hundreds of recipes. One staple that you should always try to stock up somewhere in your valley is rice. It is a key ingredient for many dishes such as Sushi and Maki main courses. Here’s how to get a lot of rice in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Where to Grow Rice in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Rice is a crop that you will unlock with the clear trust Biome. Seeds can be purchased there at Goofy’s Stall for 35 Star Coins each. You can plant them anywhere, but if you plant rice seeds inside the Glade of Trust biome, the growing time of the crop will be reduced by ten percent. Normally, rice takes 50 minutes to grow, so it would take 45 minutes to grow in the Glade of Trust. Always harvest plants with a Disney gardening boosting friend, as this will give you the opportunity to collect extra pieces of rice for each plant you choose.

Rice is a good item to have on hand, as Disney friends will frequently order sushi and maki platters as favorite treats. It can also be used for dishes such as Lancetfish Paella or Fish Risotto. Unlike wheat, it is not a commonly used ingredient in furniture crafting recipes. However, Dreamlight Valley is constantly being updated and expanded, so you may see this in the future.
