An economist in California finally approved a cash flow agreement in which a share of 1,85 million dollars was secured with CD Project and some of its investors, in response to the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk in 2077. The settlement for this sum was disclosed in December 2021, but District Judge Fernando M. Olguin agreed to settle the settlement in April 2022. He said that the draft included nothing in the motion but not with any statements or documents. The parties’ lawyers gave a new version of the settlement in the last few weeks.

The litigation dates back to December 2020. The lawsuit was filed right after Cyberpunk 2077 when the games were presented with numerous problems, particularly in the Xbox One and PS4, such as the many limitations that remained evident at this stage. The lawsuit also focused on CD Projekts deceptive communication about the final quality of the game.

It should be noted that the agreement hasn’t had its end date approved, that would have taken place before the 1st June 2023, after further requests to CD Projekt and the law firm Rosen, which represents investors, went into effect by April 28, 2023.
