Hogwarts Legacy hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC back in February – you can read Informant in the game Check out Hogwarts Legacy here. Now, as 2023 approaches, Google has released the top 10 trending searches in games on Google for the year and the top slot is Hogwarts Legacy.
While many people were likely looking for new trailers, gameplay, and information about the game, there’s no doubt that some Google searches for the game turned up Harry Potter author JK Rowling’s trans community. It is caused by provocative statements. Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive says Rowling was not involved in the creation of Hogwarts Legacy, which was produced by Avalanche, but it is based on the Harry Potter franchise she created, undoubtedly making money from it. After all, it was the subject of many top trending searches on Google.
As for what it means, Google describes it this way: “This data shows the top trending searches in the US, meaning ‘trending’ queries are searches that have been consistently trending since 2023.” Traffic has grown so much during 2022.”
