The Dirge of Bilqis is the most important quest chain in Genshin Impact’s Hadramaveth Desert, introducing players to the unforgiving conditions of the area and reuniting them with an old friend, Jeht. It is important to complete it to unlock all the exploration mechanics that will help you explore this part of the desert. The first World Quest in the series is called Wisdom Has Built Her House, She Has Carved Its Seven Pillars – Here’s how to unlock and complete it.
How to unlock The Dirge of Bilqis quest chain in Genshin Impact
The Dirge of Bilqis World questline can be unlocked by completing the entire Golden Slumber questline.
Once they are done, you will automatically unlock the first mission in the series called Wisdom has built her house, she has hewed its seven pillars.

At the start of the quest, you will be asked to talk to Katheryne in Sumeru (although this part is optional). She can head straight for the Statue of Seven to the west of Kjah-Nisut. Interacting with him for the first time will light up the Hadramaveth Desert. From there, slide down to enter Tanit Camps.
As soon as you enter, a small cutscene with Tanit’s guards will begin. Once this is done, go downstairs to talk to aderfi.

Then, hook onto the four-leaf seal to head to the other side of the mountains, where you need to talk to the NPC named Masseira. Then scroll down to talk to another NPC named Yuften. He will ask you to pay a visit to Matriarch Babel.
Hook onto the four bladed sigils directly above you to make it easier to get up the mountain. Then approach the group of Hermits and proceed with the dialogue with the Matriarch Babel. After their conversation, she will meet up with an old friend, Jeht.
she will guide you to Yuften, so scroll down to go back to the previous location and talk to him. Once this is done, you must accompany her to feed the nearby crocodiles. Just go to the bright spots between dialogues.
Lastly, you must visit Jeht’s abode. The area is marked on the minimap, so you can reference it to find the small shop to the west. Talking to Jeht will complete World Quest and unlock the next quest in the chain called The temple where the sand flows like tears.
