The Genshin Impact Secret Summer Paradise event is taking place from July 5th, 2023, to August 16, 2023, allowing you to explore Veluriyam Mirage for a limited time. In this exciting new area, you can complete quests and loot chests that will disappear after the event period, so I recommend playing this area when you have time. One of the limited time quests is called Returning Curios, where you can search for ancient relics left behind by people who once visited Veluriyam Mirage.
How to Unlock the Returning Curios World Quest in Genshin Impact
To unlock Returning Curios, you must first complete Secret Summer Paradise: Part III – Dreams and First Encounters!, which will close out the story of Veluriyam Mirage. Once this is done, you will automatically get Returning Curiosities in your quest menu, which you can start by talking to Idyia in the Silver Bottle Courtyard.
How to complete the world quest Returning Curios in Genshin Impact
Returning curios involves searching for three curiosities left behind by former guests of the Veluriyam Mirage. After accepting the quest from Idyia, follow the quest navigator to the exact location marked above in Silver Bottle Courtyard. Once there, you will find two dining tables. sit in front of the table with lantern to complete the objective. TO common chest will engender. You need to loot it to continue the quest.
Return the Idyia to report your progress, then follow the quest navigator to the Choo-Choo wagon east of the Silver Bottle Courtyard. Hop on the choo-choo cart to enter a cave, where you will find a Preprint puzzle.

Before you start, don’t forget push the box to the right—should be positioned exactly as in the image above. Once this is done, interact with the streaming projector to enter the Preprint world. There are no puzzles inside. You can complete the Preprint by following a simple path: loot the Chest, then head out the door.
Once you’ve completed the preprint, proceed to find that the path has been unlocked. Interact with the bright spot to dig an exquisite chest, then loot it to complete this part of the objective. The quest can’t continue if you don’t loot the Chest, so don’t forget to do it.
Return to Idyia to report your progress. After that, she will ask you to complete a challenge to get the final Curio. Make your way to the mission location via the eastern Teleport Waypoint, then start by interacting with the Hydro Eidolon above the stairs.
The Hydro Eidolon will move and you must keep following him. Pay attention and don’t lose track! After it stops moving, interact with it to get it to return to its designated position.
Once this is done, you must convince the two remaining Hydro Eidolons to return to their posts as well. I highly recommend starting from the same Teleport Waypoint, then heading to the western quest marker. You can get here using the four-leaf stamps, shown above.
On the floating island, you will find a Bloatty Floatty. Interact with it and pop all three balloons using an archer to reveal the Hydro Eidolon. Interact with him to complete this segment.
From the position of the second Hydro Eidolon, you can swipe directly to the last one at the bottom of the map. If not, you can also start from the Teleport Waypoint and follow the navigator, it won’t be hard to find. You will find the Hydro Eidolon surrounded by mushrooms. defeat the enemiesthen interact with the Hydro Eidolon to complete this segment.
Once this is done, return to the area around the Teleport Waypoint, where the three Hydro Eidolons gather.

You need follow the three Hydro Eidolons until you reach the destination in front of the “wheel of fortune”. It is important to make sure that all three Hydro Eidolons are always together. If one falls behind, you must move closer to him to signal him to continue moving.
The Hydro Eidolons will take you to the top of the mountain in the Silver Bottle Courtyard, right in front of the makeshift Ferris wheel. It should look like the one above, with the three friends waiting for you. If one is missing, go back for it.
The Ferris wheel will not stop moving, but you need to approach it the same way you did in Event Quest. Wait for the giant water lily to appear and get on it. Wait for it to lead you up, but pay attention to your surroundings. Make sure that face east.
As soon as you see the floating island shown above (looking east of the minimap), immediately use the four-leaf stamps to land on it. Interact with the bright spot to reveal a luxurious chest, which you must loot to continue the quest. Once this is done, head back to Idyia to report your progress.
Regardless of what you answer, Idyia will send you to the northwest of the Veluriyam Mirage, near the Teleport Waypoint. There you will find two bright spotswith which it must interact. One will grant you a quest item called the Mysterious Mora Pocketwatch, while the other will ask you to bury treasure with Paimon. Interacting with him will complete the World Quest.
Mysterious Mora’s pocket watch has no known use in any existing quests, but you can read it in the Quest Item section of your inventory for more information on its original owner.
