Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.2 released on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. This was confirmed during the live letter on August 12, 2022. Patch 6.25 was released in early October 2022. During the 14 hour live stream on October 7, it was confirmed to be October 18.

Overall, Endwalker is set for a first few years packed with events, patches, new content, and updates galore. Even as Endwalker enters the middle of its life, the patch schedule is full enough to keep you playing for a long time.
