The arrival of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone’s Season 3 Reloaded brought with it new maps, unlockable weapons, challenges and items to use in games. However, it also introduced a Tac Sprint bug that prevents you from reloading your weapons after using the mechanic. Here’s how you can avoid it while the developers work on a permanent fix.

First, it is important to know what exactly causes the error. If you have enabled automatic tactical sprint for the game, you will likely encounter this error. When you are in the game, the moment you start running, your weapon may not reload.

To prevent this from happening, go to Movement behaviors section under the Game options tab in settings. Here you will see the ‘Sprint/Tactical Sprint Behavior’ option. Instead of keeping it on automatic, switch it back to manual.

This way, you will have to enter a key or perform a controller input to run in the game. For most gamers, this is the LShift key. However, you can change the keybinds in the settings.

The developers are working on a solution.

Players have nothing to worry about as the developers have already prioritized a fix for this issue. This has been confirmed by an official ‘Call of Duty Updates’ account on X (previously known as Twitter). While there’s no guarantee that the fix will be fixed in a day or so, hopefully a bug affecting a core mechanic like Tac Sprint will be resolved quickly.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Reloaded has been exciting so far, with new weekly challenges, powerful marksman rifles akimbo in the form of JAK Wardens, and better accessibility options like cross-progression. Fans have become accustomed to bugs and glitches appearing every time a new seasonal update arrives for Call of Duty’s Warzone and the main series, so this is normal.

Fortunately, none of this breaks the game. For these minor errors, a quick fix is usually just around the corner.
