Cities Skylines may not be streamlined as a series for console play, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t garnered a massive player base out there.

City Builder is a hit, and with a brand new sequel on the way, players on PC and console alike are getting excited about the possibilities of their new empires. Sadly, it looks like console visitors will have to wait longer to try out the game. Oh Very long

Cities Skylines II on Xbox and PS5 is delayed.

A new statement from developer Paradox Interactive has revealed that Cities Skylines is undergoing a change in development, and as a result the game will not be making its final release date – but only for console players.

The statement reads as follows: “We are hard at work preparing the game for our release on October 24th. In doing so, we have realized that we need more time to reach the standard targets we have set.

As we want to provide the best experience for our players, we are updating the release window for Xbox and PS5 to Spring 2024. The extra time allows us to focus on matching quality and performance across platforms.

The team promises,”We will share more updates on the console release window soon. As optimization continues, we’re also updating the minimum and recommended PC specifications.

When is Cities Skylines coming to PC?

The team has clarified that the game will still be launched. October 24 For PC players, but if you want to play it any other way, you’ll be waiting until spring of next year. This is a big pushback, which clearly indicates that there is one. Very Work done at the port.

This is a huge change for the game, and disappointing for players who had hoped to get their hands on the game on Game Pass on PS5 and Xbox – but if the game needs more work in the port department, It’s just something we’re going to deal with again.
