Check out Tekken 8’s final launch fighter, newcomer Reina

    After months of character reveals, Tekken 8 has announced the final fighter for its launch roster: Reina. This all-new character has lightning-fast movement, earning him the nickname “Purple Lightning” and has mysterious ties to the Mishima clan.

    Bandai Namco states that little is known about Reina’s history other than that she is a student at Mishima Polytechnic School. For some reason, she really wants to fight Jin (move over, hovering), and based on her gameplay trailer, she seems more than capable of taking it on. Watch Rena in action below.

    With the addition of Raina, the 32-fighter roster is now complete. Here’s the full list of characters, with new fighters identified and links to applicable articles/trailers:

    Additionally, four unannounced fighters will be added to the game’s first season of post-launch DLC. The characters will be released separately each season through 2024, with the first coming in the spring.
