Farming item components is a pain in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, as you only get a small amount from dismantling items. Fortunately, after some research and testing, I found a few ways to farm item components quickly in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Farm Element and Swirl Components Quickly in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
The main way to farm item components in Cyberpunk 2.0 is to farm enemies and dismantle their weapons for article comments up to level five. Completing GIG and NCPD scanner jobs is usually the best way to dismantle farm weapons into item components. In short, you can encounter a large number of enemies in both missions and side activities. Enemies also usually have some item components on their bodies that you can loot for additional components.
Take advantage of the Lucky Day buff to increase the number of item components you can loot from enemies and containers. You can find the Lucky Day benefit through Technical benefits tree. You need to level your technical profit tree to level nine to get the benefit of Lucky Day. After leveling up Technician to level nine, you can get the benefit as shown below.

Getting the Lucky Day pickaxe requires one perk point. If you don’t have the benefit, refund one from another benefit or tree. You can also dismantle clothing items to earn a component of any level. For example, dismantling level five clothing grants you a level five item component. Don’t worry about losing clothes, as you can find them again in your wardrobe and make more outfits after dismantling them. You can also dismantle unwanted weapon mods through the backpack to obtain additional item components. How to Quickly Farm Tier 5 Item Components in Cyberpunk 2.0
One of the best ways to farm a lot of level 5 item components is to farm enemies and loot containers in the Reconciliation Park Location in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. You can find Reconciliation Park south of City Center Corpo Plaza at the site shown below:
There are multiple enemies scattered around the park that appear at night. You can farm these enemies repeatedly as they respawn after waiting a few hours using the time skip option. Players can also find loot containers throughout the park which may contain some legendary items, as shown below:
We recommend farming enemies in the park when you are at least level 30-40. I found that legendary items and level 4+ Element components tend to generate more at those levels. You can dismantle legendary items such as clothing, accessories, and weapons into level five item components. You can also create level five item components from level four through the Preparation menu. To create level five item components, you need at least five level four item components for every level five component. You can also farm level five item components by farming lower level components and crafting higher levels.
How to fix infinite money and junk items bug in Cyberpunk 2.0
Another great method to farm item components and money in Cyberpunk 2077 is to fix the infinite money or junk item bug. You need some junk items to perform Infinite Money Glitch; I recommend even 15 medical gauze or something similar. If you don’t have any junk items, you can find them by going to a junk dealer. You can find garbage vendors by locating them on the map using the garbage vendor icon shown below:

Find the nearest Drop Point location after grabbing some junk items. You can find drop-off points by searching for their box icons on the map below.
At a delivery point, open the Sell menu and select the Junk Items Tab shown below.
In this menu, hover on the junk item icon you have the most while holding down the button Sell ​​Junk Button at the bottom right of your screen. While holding down the Sell ​​Junk ButtonClick on the junk item your cursor is over and sell all but one, as shown below:
If done correctly, another tab should appear right after you sell your items, asking if you want to sell all the junk items. Select Yeah, and its garbage elements will be duplicated, as shown below. You can repeat these steps as many times as you want to get money and item components by dismantling junk items.
How to disassemble items in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
To dismantle items in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, you need to open your inventory and hold down the dismantle button on what you want to dismantle. You can also easily disassemble the items by visiting your backpack shown below:

How to Farm Slaugt-O-Matic Vending Machines for Item Components in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
If you don’t want to try out Infinite Money Glitch, you can also farm Slaught-O-Matic Vending Machines to get item components. To farm Slaught-O-Matic Vending Machines, head to a location that has at least one or two. We recommend at least two machines like the ones shown below south of H10 Megabuilding: Atrium.
In the vending machines, you want to purchase multiple Slaught-O-Matic guns from the machines by clicking on the machine several times. Be careful not to click too quickly, as the machines may crash and stop generating weapons.
We recommend only buying 15 weapons one after another to avoid damaging the machines. Make a quick save before purchasing any Slaught-O-Matic weapons so you can recharge your game if the machines stop working. You will then be able to take each weapon purchased by $100 and dismantle them within your inventory to five pieces of crafting each.
Overall, the Slaught-O-Matic gun method is a decent way to use up any extra Eddies you have in the game. However, if you are short on money, we recommend using a different option for farming item components.
