Call of Duty fans will feel right at home with the Striker SMG in Modern Warfare 3. This powerful weapon is a fixture in the game so far, and will remain so until the official release. Here is the best Striker class you can create to dominate the competition.

    Best Striker accessories in MW3

Modern Warfare 3 offers players plenty of customization options to fine-tune their playstyles, but there are few ways to stand out from the pack. The Striker is an SMG that works relatively well from a distance, but only if you control the recoil. That’s why it’s important to focus on accessories that will keep recoil low, basically making sure you get it right. Here is an example of that.

    • Optical: MK.23 reflector
    • Barrel: Striker Recon Long Barrel
    • Muzzle: Monolithic suppressor
    • Ammunition: .45 High Grain Auto
    • Stock: No stock

These attachments give you a good combination of range and lower recoil. Ammo and lack of stock will cause recoil to suffer, but the trade-off here is extra damage and faster ADS speed. If you find the gun too unwieldy, you can swap it out for the Lachmann MK2 lightweight stock and replace the ammunition with the Chewk Angled Grip bottom barrel.

The Striker SMG encourages a quick run-and-gun style of play, which is why we opted for the above accessories. If you’re someone who likes to post in one area, you may find a different set of attachments better suited for you.

Best Striker class build in MW3

While your attachments are the most important part of your setup, you’ll want to maximize the entire class. This starts with the Engineer Vest, as it allows you to quickly spot enemy equipment, something that comes in handy while running around the map.

    • Vest: Engineer vest
    • Tactical: Battle Fury
    • Field equipment: communications encoder
    • Gloves: Scavenger Gloves
    • Boots: Tactical Boots
    • Gear: Bone conduction headphones
    • Gear: Mission control communication link

There are some variations on the build you can do depending on the situation. Changing the Battle Rage tactic to Flash Grenades could be useful if you’re trying to break a strong position, for example. Command Gloves could also get an advantage over Scavenger Gloves if you want to reload while running. Different versions work better on different maps and modes, so keep that in mind as well.

Your secondary is really up to you because you won’t be using it much. The Renetti is a good option, but the same can be said for the COR-45. Try both and see which one best suits your needs.
