Changing the stage settings in Manor Lords is the best way to customize your experience. I’ve designed three custom scenario setups to help casual and hardcore players enjoy Manor Lords from a new perspective.
Best Manor Lords Custom Stage Setups
Manor Lords has three basic setting settings for players: Relaxing, Default, and Challenging. These are great options for new players who want to dive into the game. However, these settings can be personally customized to make the world of Manor Lord fit anyone’s play style.
I’ve composed three custom build options for those who want to explore the game as a city builder, play it casually with realistic elements, and those who want the challenge of a lifetime!
Scenario Settings for Casual City Builders
These scenarios are perfect for those who want to explore the building aspects of Manor Lords without the danger of being attacked or dying due to the weather.

Stage settings for casual realism
These scenarios are similar to city building, but with some added elements of realism for casual players who get tired of simply building settlements. Some of these changes include the addition of weather elements, the possibility of bandits and raiders, and increased residential needs. If you are not interested in fighting, change the “Raider Frequency” to none and the “Bandit Camp Random Spawn Limit” to 0.
Configuration name | Configuration option |
---|---|
Final goal | None or growth |
Opponent off the map | Absent |
Frequency of attackers | Half |
Years free from assailants | 3 |
Initial Bandit Camps | None |
Bandit Camp Random Spawn Limit | 3 |
Initial season | Spring |
Initial Supplies | Double |
Weapons delivery | Yeah |
Residential requirements | Balanced |
Approval | Low penalty |
Well placement | Groundwater |
Weather events | Balanced |
Extreme scenario configuration
If you think challenging scenario setups are a piece of cake, try our extreme setups! You’ll have to start from the bottom and work your way to the top of the food chain while fending off a variety of enemies.
Configuration name | Configuration option |
---|---|
Final goal | Domination |
Opponent off the map | Present |
AI aggressiveness | Aggressive |
Frequency of attackers | Frequent |
Years free from assailants | 1 |
Initial Bandit Camps | Between 3 and 5 |
Bandit Camp Random Spawn Limit | 5 |
Initial season | Winter |
Initial Supplies | Nothing |
Weapons delivery | No |
Residential requirements | Demanding |
Approval | High penalty |

If you find the fighting to be too much, I recommend changing the “Bandit Camp Random Spawn Limit” to 3 or the “Raider Frequency” to medium.
