Another Crab’s Treasure has its serious moments and deals with some pretty important issues that are endangering society, but it is, at its core, a silly game. And there is no better way to show it than with an Easter egg with a QR code.

Thanks to a diligent Redditor Toaster in the tubNow we can enjoy another fun feature of Another Crab’s Treasure. You can scan the QR code on the photo, but I have to say it’s even more fun when you try hard to find it in the game.

The QR Code Easter Egg can be found in New Carcinia, specifically in the Lower Crust area. It took me a bit to realize that it’s a box that Kril is standing on in the Reddit image that the Lower Crust houses are made of. He was running all over Upper Crust looking for it and wasting time.

Jump to the lower class of New Carcinia. You will notice that many boxes have the QR code, but many of them are a little damaged, completely scratched or hidden behind some object.

Head to Bottom Feeders, as you can find two intact QR codes nearby. The first one is on top of the cardboard box. You can use the sponge to get up and scan it. The second is in the alley behind the sponge. Scan any of them and… well, enjoy it.

When you arrive in Nueva Carcinia, scan the QR code at your own risk.

Spoiler alert, but the link takes you to a video called “You Got Coconut Malled.” This is essentially a remake of the Rick Roll I originally expected, but it was also a masterpiece. Singing the Mario Kart music after the guy tells you to send the video to all your friends really seals the deal.
