The Variant, Criterion, and Criterion Savage dungeons are a unique set of content in Final Fantasy XIV that has several different ways to play. There are the branching paths of the variants, or the Criterion challenges, and the truly difficult wild versions, but they all have great rewards. Variant Dungeon Rewards in FFXIV
There are two main varieties of variant dungeon rewards: drops within dungeons and currency purchases. Each dungeon has its own coins. Sil’dihn Underground has Sil’dihn Shards, Sil’dih Silverand Sil’dihn Scrollswhile Mount Rokkon has Rokkon Shards, Shishu Coinsand Rokkon Scrolls.
Where to trade pottery shards and coins in Final Fantasy XIV
All coins can be traded with the same NPC in Old Sharlyan. Trisassant is an Elezen found near the city docks in X: 12.0, Y: 13.3. He will trade all Sil’dihn Sherds, Sil’dih Silver, Rokkon Sherds, Shishu Coins, and Manuscripts for a variety of items. These are listed in the following tables:
