Quaquaval is a water/fight He writes Pokemon with five weaknesses and has moves to cover most of their weaknesses as well. Pokemon that resist Quaquaval’s STAB moves are going to be very strong against it. toxapex Y slow brother both resist water moves and fight with Slowbro capable of dealing super effective damage. Toxapex can also learn Haze to remove any stat boost Quaquaval gained during the battle. dragapult Y gyarados they are also exceptional counters due to how fast Dragapult is and Gyarados can use his Ability, intimidate, to lower Quaquaval’s attack stat. Grass Pokemon can be valid counters, but since Quaquaval can learn Brave Bird, it’s not recommended to bring one when its stats are boosted.
