But however anyone can make this list, certain titles always seem to rise to the top. So here are our 10 toughest games of all time, ranked.

The battles were brutally hard, with some lost spaces of fog of war that could leave you in tatters. While at the base, overlooking a little thing it could spell doom for Earth further down the road.

    A fast and furious platform game which seems to operate on its own level of insanity. You have to get into a zen state to stand a chance, sort of become one with the meat-rix to find a way through each screen. And even then, you will die regularly.

    If we were to go with an individual game, it would be ninja gaiden ii. But any game in the series would be in the “more difficult games” category.
