A new Xbox controller is hitting the market, and it promises to be a ‘crest’ above the rest. We’ve seen some weird and wonderful Xbox and peripherals, but how about a pizza-themed Xbox controller that also smells like pizza?
After the success of Sony’s Spider-Verse films, Paramount Pictures is capitalizing on this style of animation and releasing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Well, it can’t get any worse than live-action movies led by Megan Fox.

Not that we thought we’d ever need it, but Microsoft just announced the world’s first pizza-scented controller. Oh Blog post “ooze green” describes the release of the Xbox Wireless Controllers, along with a special promo that also announces game content themed around Jeff Rowe’s film.
To celebrate the August 2 release date of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, a limited number of controllers are up for grabs. Along with the four titular turtles, there are four controllers to honor Donatella, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael.
“Designed to bring the aroma of some beloved food to your game time, these exclusive Xbox Wireless Controllers come with a built-in scent diffuser shaped like a slice of delicious New York ‘za,” the description explains.
How you can get a slice of the Xbox Pizza Controller
As is common with Microsoft’s limited run of weird and wonderful Xboxes, you sadly can’t buy Mutant Mayhem controllers. Instead, a giveaway runs from July 24th to August 13th. To enter, you need to follow Xbox Game Pass on Twitter (or is it X now?) and retweet the official announcement tweet.
You must be over 18 and live in an area that supports Xbox consoles. If you live in New York, you can see them in person. Head to the Xbox Gaming Lounge at the Microsoft Experience Center (on Fifth Avenue) on August 2 between 4 and 7 p.m.
