As we approach. Spider-Man 2, the most important thing that all fans want to know is who will be Venom. Over the years, in all different types of media, a huge variety of characters have donned the iconic symbiote and become Venom in return.
The most famous Venom to many was Eddie Brock, a former journalist who joins the symbiote to seek revenge on Spider-Man, and is also what many consider the most popular incarnation of the character.
But there have been many iterations of the character including Peter Parker’s school bully: Flash Thompson, some Guardians of the Galaxy and even McGargan, who is usually Scorpion.
However, it looks like Spider-Man 2 is going in a new direction with the character, so let’s take a look at who we think will be Venom. the game Releasing soon.
Is Harry Osborn Venom in Spider-Man 2?
Click to enlarge.At this point, it looks like Harry Osborn will be poisoned. Spider-Man 2. This is a relatively fresh take on the character, although the same thing happened in the 2012 Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon.
Harry Osborn is mentioned in the Insomniac Spider-Man games and is teased to appear as Venom when we see him in an incubation tank with black goo.
A recent trailer shown at SDCC also led fans to the idea that Peter Parker’s old pal is set to become the latest interpretation of the villain. Yet, despite constantly hinting at it being Harry, Insomniac has never confirmed it. So there is likely to be another infamous character.
Who else could be Venom in Spider-Man 2?
Click to enlarge.Flash Thompson and Eddie Brock haven’t appeared in Insomniac titles yet, so this could be a great opportunity to introduce one of these characters, or maybe both.
Alternatively, we can see the symbiote bounce between a few different characters during the game, and we know that Spider-Man will be wearing it for a while, so he might have more than one symbiote. Spider-Man 2.
There’s a chance we could see Peter Parker himself slowly transform into Venom, which would put him in direct conflict with his henchman Miles Morales. Although, we’ve seen both of their art clash with Venom so that’s unlikely.
About the only thing we know is who will be Venom in Spider-Man 2, although we don’t know for sure, the game and marketing are leading us to think it will be Harry but maybe that’s wrong.
