There’s one new item that drops in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 where they are to find the Guardian Shield!
Once again, The Fortnite Chapter 4 season 1 takes place on an island pulled together from several different realities, but with more medieval themes than anything else.
We have a city of hope to explore; villages that wouldn’t be considered a world heritage site; and Ageless and knights armor is our Tier 100 Battle Pass.
So it makes sense that instead of some high-tech weapons, we were able to get a shield in battle.
How to get the guarded-schild in Fortnite.
The best way to find the Guardian Shield is in high-tier loot areas like Brutal Bastion and The Citadel. The item is very rare on the ground, inside chests, and in supplies enchanted around the island.
They’re usually a relatively common drop in this Chest of Ody-Augly areas.
Make sure you have an effective chance to claim a POI in Fortnite.
How to use a guardian to use in Fortnite?
You must turn down this weapon in your weapon list. You’ll see a rudder to turn off the weapon.
This item can be also thrown down using LT/L2/Right Click and then the fire button so players can not come back from the door. When thrown, the shield offers a much larger protective cover.
Once deployed, players can use the interaction button on the shield to reclaim it at any time. And unlike other shields, the Guardian Shield can’t be fired from one direction to the other.
In a short period, the shield will begin a purple skype, which would clearly mean it was on hold for the moment. Once the juice starts to evaporate, the players must wait for it to recharge and then perform a ten second second cooldown before going back into use.
Although the Guardian Shield is active, it will cover large areas with a protective forcefield, similar to Reinhardts’s shield in Overwatch. However, incoming damage will become too costly, so players can never trust them forever.
Interestingly, Fortnites Shockwave Hammer seems to be a similar weapon to Reinhardts. So whatever the hell has you lost it, the Shockwave Hammer got a strong nerf!
