Resources can be hard to come by in Harvestella, and catching rare fish is an easy way to get resources quickly. Players can unlock the Sahagin in the Waterside Biome for hints, but some of the rare fish will still be hard to come by. Players may want to start a game plan file to catch these fish, as some of them only appear in certain seasons.
How to catch all the rare fish in Harvestella
aurelio
Fortunately, this fish can be caught right at Bird’s Eye Brae. The only requirement is that the player catch a certain amount of Argentium, a less rare fish. Start catching Aregntium and after a while Aurelium will start spawning.
monotaimen
This fish is also available by fishing in the lake at Bird’s Eye Brae. There are no special requirements to catch this fish; players will need to have the RNG in their favor or fish a lot before they can find it.
giant salamander
Players can find this fish in the rivers of Lethe Village. This fish will only be found in the fall, so it is a good idea to catch it early. Once fall passes, players will have to wait an entire year just to catch this fish again.
jejun trout
Interestingly, this fish is only available the day after it rains. It’s a good idea to save up before nabbing this one. After it rains, head to Higan Canyon and fish any of the water bodies there for a Jejune trout.

twilight cherry salmon
This fish is native to the Nemea region. As its name suggests, it can only be caught at night. Players can head to Nemea Town at night and fish the river that runs through the town to find the Twilight Cherry Salmon.
mermaid servant
The Mermaid’s Servant is one of the easiest fish to catch. He needs to be caught in Shatolla during a rainy day. So once the player sees clouds, they can head to Shatolla and fish off the beach.
ice fairy
By far the easiest fish to find, players just need to fish in the pond in Argene Capitol. It’s the only thing that can really be picked up in this area, so it shouldn’t take too long.
the rainbow harp
Catching this fish will take a while, so take some time to find it. The Rainbow Harp is available at Panthalassa Junction, which has a couple of stairs leading to the fishing spots. However, the Rainbow Haro is quite rare, so be prepared.
cardinal goldfish
The last of the rare fish has one of the most peculiar locations. The Cardinal Goldfish is found inside a cave called Karenoid. Players who have finished the main story can enter Karenoid at any time by going through the shaft at Bird’s Eye Brae. Otherwise, they will have to wait until Quietus to access Karenoid.
