Meta perks in Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)

    Image from MyFullGames

The perk system received a major overhaul with Modern Warfare 3 and feels much better than the last game. It may seem complicated at first, but trust me, it’s not and you’ll get used to it in no time. Below I list the best options for the different benefit spaces.

Meta vest in Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)

    1. infantry vest: This should be the vest of choice for most players, as it improves tactical sprint duration, which everyone likes, and doesn’t affect any other buffs or equipment slots.
    2. Engineer vest: If you want to try something else, you can use the Engineer Vest, which allows you to detect enemy equipment through walls and reload them faster. More importantly, you should use this vest if you want an extra slot for the Gear perk. One thing to note is that wearing the engineer vest allows you to carry two tactics but eliminates the lethal slot.

Meta Gloves in Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)

    1. Quick Grip Gloves: Increases weapon swap speed, making it a no-brainer for an aggressive playstyle.
    2. commando gloves: These gloves allow you to reload while running, but you must decide if you want this ability instead of a faster weapon swap speed.

Metaboots in Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)

    1. Undercover slippers: Like the Ninja perk from previous CoD games, these boots remove the audio of your footsteps, however, they have a counter. If an enemy is using the Bone conduction headphones Gear, they’ll be able to hear you coming loud and clear.
    2. Light boots: These boots slightly increase your movement and swimming speed. As an added benefit, you will also make less noise while swimming.
    3. climbing boots: These increase the speed of ascent and descent, as well as reducing fall damage.
    4. Stalker Boots: These boots should help you increase your ADS and strafing speed. However, this item doesn’t seem to work as intended during the MW3 Beta, so I put it at the bottom of the boot list.

Meta Gear in Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)

    1. EOD Fill: An essential buff that reduces the damage you take from non-Killstreak explosives and fire, such as grenades and molotovs.
    2. Ghost Camouflage T/V: Hides you from enemy UAVs, heartbeat sensors, and other radar sources. But keep in mind that Ghost in MW3 only works while you’re moving.
    3. tactical mask: Reduces the strength of enemy tactical equipment, including flash, stun, and gas grenades. Additionally, it makes you completely immune to shock, instant, and EMP grenades.
    4. Bone conduction headphones: This equipment improves enemy footsteps and shot detection, so it works as a direct counter to the Covert Sneaker Boots perk.

As you can see, the Gear Perk slot has some of the most important equipment and you may find it difficult to choose. This is where the Engineer Vest comes into play, as it gives you an additional gear slot at the cost of your Lethal Gear.

Meta Team in Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)

Here are the best and lethal tactics to use in MW3 Beta.

Metatactical Gear in Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)

flash grenade and scattered mine are two of the most powerful tactics in MW3. While the former can be used to blind enemies so you can aggressively push their position, the mine can be placed in a location that you want to protect and keep enemies away from.

Metal Gear in Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)

I like to switch between all of the Lethals available in the game, as each of them seems viable. Said that, Semtexthe sticky grenade and the newly added Offending drone they’re my favorites.

Field Meta Team in Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)

Field upgrades in MW3 Beta are situational and you should select them according to your play style and game mode.

    • ammunition box It is multipurpose and allows you and your team to replenish ammunition and equipment.
    • Trophy system It is perhaps the most useful field item for the Hardpoint game mode, deflecting up to three enemy projectiles, such as grenades.
    • SCA is a new field upgrade that you can place on objectives and it will capture that point for you. It’s great for Hardpoint and Domination game modes.
    • Communications encoder disables enemy UAVs and their ability to call in Killstreaks within their radius. However, its location is marked on enemy minimaps, so they can easily track and destroy it.
